Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Monitor adherence to regulatory fund limits.
  • Manage the Transaction Monitoring System, ensuring daily review of alerts and breaches, taking appropriate follow-up actions, and recommending system improvements.
  • Review the Financial Management Report (FMR) monthly and report any discrepancies to the relevant department.
  • Ensure AML procedures are strictly followed, with no instances of non-compliance during account opening reviews.
  • Oversee the compliance of marketing materials with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure other departmental operations adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Monitor compliance with laws and regulations including the Companies Act and NBFC/AMC Rules & Regulations.
  • Ensure timely reporting of suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.
  • Oversee timely submission of FATCA & CRS reports and other information required by SECP or other regulatory bodies.

Eligibility criteria

  • Master’s degree or qualification in ACCA/ICMA (Finalist) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant compliance experience, ideally within the AMCS or financial sector.
